Caring Plus Home Services is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization proudly situated in the heart of St. Petersburg, Florida. Established in 2016, our roots in the community run deep, and our commitment to those we serve is unwavering.
MISSION STATEMENT
At Caring Plus Home Services, our mission is clear: to deliver respectful, dignified, and compassionate care by developing and administering services that enhance the safety and quality of life for our clients.
OUR PURPOSE
In the state of Florida, a staggering 75% of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) live with a parent or guardian, with one in three residing with a family member over the age of 60. This situation often leads to one of the greatest shared fears among parents of children with special needs: "Where will my child live when I am gone?" Caring Plus Home Services is the answer, offering these families a warm and welcoming place for their adult children to live, thrive, and find a sense of belonging.
We are a dedicated group home that provides residential care for individuals with developmental disabilities, and we are licensed by Florida's Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). Our thoughtful residential habilitation and support services are meticulously designed to ensure the health and safety of our residents.
OUR DEDICATION TO CARE
Caring Plus Home Services provides compassionate, around-the-clock care to adults between the ages of 21 and older with a range of intellectual and developmental disabilities, as structured by the APD.
Our commitment is to help individuals with disabilities achieve the best possible quality of life. Beyond health and safety, we endeavor to enrich their social and emotional experiences by fostering inclusivity and autonomy.

From the sun-kissed beaches to picturesque parks, live music, and entertainment, St. Pete Pier, museums, and scenic walkways, we ensure our residents experience the full richness of life in our beautiful sunshine state.
We understand that a vital aspect of fostering inclusivity and bringing happiness to our residents is providing them with the means to access all these wonderful opportunities. That's why we're dedicated to providing transportation solutions, like a van, to help our residents fully embrace the warmth and richness of our community.
